I forgot my password

Email support@dooralpha.app from the address you signed up with and we'll send you a secure link to set a new password.

I can see properties I didn't add

You're probably browsing the demo. When you're not signed in, Door Alpha shows a sample six-property portfolio so you can explore. Sign in from Settings to see your own properties.

My properties aren't showing

Check you're signed in to the same account you used to add them (Settings shows the email you're signed in with), then close and reopen the app. Your data is stored in your account, so it appears on any device you sign in on.

Subscriptions

What do I get for free?

Every feature, for one property. Subscribe to Starter (2 properties), Standard (5) or Pro (unlimited) to track more.

How do I cancel or change my plan?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google:

You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.

I paid but the app still shows my old plan

Open Settings → Subscription and tap Restore purchases, making sure you're signed in to the same App Store or Google Play account you paid with.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by the store. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com for Apple purchases, or through your Google Play order history for Android.

Using Door Alpha

Why is my tax estimate different from my CPA's?

Door Alpha uses a simplified model: depreciation recapture at 25%, long-term capital gains at the top 20% federal rate, the 3.8% net investment income tax and your property's state rate. Your actual bill depends on your bracket, other income, suspended losses and more. Treat the app's figures as a planning estimate and share the export with your CPA.

How do I send my numbers to my accountant?

Open Reports & CPA Pack. You can export a Schedule E summary, depreciation schedule, sale worksheet, ownership summary, property P&L and document list as CSV, or the full CPA pack as a PDF.

The map isn't loading

The map and street photos need an internet connection. If you're online and it still won't load, close and reopen the app, and let us know if it persists.
