Delete your Door Alpha account
You can delete your Door Alpha account and all of the data in it at any time. Choose whichever option suits you.
Option 1: In the app (instant)
- Open Door Alpha and make sure you're signed in to the account you want to delete.
- Go to Settings.
- Tap Delete account and confirm. Your account is deleted immediately and you're signed out.
Option 2: By email
If you no longer have the app, email info@dooralpha.app from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my Door Alpha account”. We'll confirm the request is from you, delete the account within 30 days (usually within two business days) and email you when it's done.
Have a subscription? Deleting your account doesn't cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings so you aren't charged again.
What gets deleted
- Your account: email address and password.
- Your profile: display name and preferences.
- Every property you've added and all of its details — addresses, values, mortgages, rents, expenses, depreciation and ownership information.
Deletion is permanent and can't be undone. If you might want your data later, export it first from Reports & CPA Pack in the app.
What we keep, and for how long
- Encrypted backups may still contain your data until they're overwritten, within 30 days.
- Purchase records for any subscription are held by Apple or Google and by our subscription provider RevenueCat, as required for tax and accounting. These don't include your property data.
- Support emails you've sent us are kept for up to 12 months, then deleted.
